The fifth semester students of the ECE department along with two faculties visited the Doordarshan Kendra, located near J C Nagar, Bangalore, on 19th July 2016. Team has visited Live News Room or Studio, Control Room, Program Set Room, Editing Room, On Air Control Room, Transmitter Tower and were also shown and explained the communication links, satellite exchange system used for broadcasting and receiving data. They also witnessed the live shoot of ghazal show and an interview of short film director.  Overall the industrial visit gave an insight about the various equipments required for transmission and the methodology used for transmitting and receiving data.
